Saloni Ghia is a multilingual healthcare PR professional with over 12 years of experience in communications, public relations and marketing, working with global and U.S.-based healthcare companies such as Boston Scientific, Johnson and Johnson, Abbott Laboratories, Amgen, Eli Lilly, Novartis and Biohaven Pharmaceuticals. Through her career, Saloni has worked extensively with healthcare companies providing strategic counsel and helping execute FDA product approvals, commercial launches, corporate communications, advocacy and patient relations, celebrity campaigns and social media. Saloni has been working at Merryman Communications since 2019.

In her previous role, Saloni led the corporate communications workstream for Alder Biopharmaceuticals, with activities such as data and regulatory milestone communications, thought leadership, corporate and product messaging, corporate website development, social media and medical meeting communications. She also helped develop Alder's unbranded campaign to raise disease awareness for migraine patients and a two-year communication plan for the commercial launch of its product including a celebrity campaign.

Saloni has also supported FDA approval and launch communications for companies such as Biohaven Pharmaceuticals’ Nurtec ODT and Abbott Laboratories MitraClip and Xience Sierra stent U.S. launches. Her work involved creation of media materials, participation in patient interviews, developing healthcare professional and patient toolkits, social media and key opinion leader media interview preparation and facilitation.

She has supplemented her experience with international work with PR Pundit, an India-based PR agency focusing across various healthcare and consumer clients. Saloni has also worked with global beauty and skincare brand Estee Lauder and helped execute their annual Breast Cancer Awareness month initiatives with advocacy, celebrity and local media event executions.

Saloni has a certificate in marketing strategy from Cornell University, a masters in luxury retail management from the University of Monaco and a bachelors in mass media with a focus on journalism from the University of Mumbai.
