Julie Dye has spent more than two decades helping companies develop integrated marketing communication and PR campaigns. She has specific expertise in the medical device space. She’s led product communication, issues management, patient advocacy and market development programs for clients including Bayer, Medtronic, Genentech and Boston Scientific as well as numerous early-stage companies. Her expertise spans cardiology, orthopedics, oncology, neurology and immunology, among other therapeutic areas.

In addition to her experience with global marketing and PR agencies W2O and Porter Novelli, Julie also worked in-house for Zimmer and Abbott, where she was hired as the first PR professional for the company’s spinal device division. While there, she developed the strategy for and implemented the division’s media relations, employee and executive communication and corporate social responsibility initiatives.

Julie has a bachelor’s degree in journalism with a concentration in public relations from The University of Texas at Austin. She dedicates many hours of service to the Austin community. She was on the boards of Susan G. Komen for the Cure, Public Relations Society of America (past president) and is a member of Leadership Austin and The Junior League. She is also the co-founder and host of The Morning Fix by 510K Café podcast - a resource for medical device marketers.
